I was wondering if you took a nap or something Glen...
I have a life beyond MF, ya know. I spent most of the day taking all of the vegetables out of my garden. The spinach, lettuce, turnip greens and carrorts had to come out because we are expecting a hard freeze starting some time Sunday.
Hey Soaring, do you grow these as well?

On Monday it was -30. For about a week it was -15 to -30 here in the valley. It just started warming up yesterday. It was almost 30 today! It feels like spring

Sunday!? You must live somewhere warm and sunny. We removed the last of the vegetables over a month ago. Of course, we didn't have any root vegetables like carrotsand turnips.

Guess I missed some excitement as well. Darn it, why can't I get my posts deleted.[sm=imsmilin.gif]Guess I'm losing my touch.[sm=sigh.gif]

We got about 5 inches of rain on Sunday night, then it froze over, so the streets were pretty slick on Monday. Jack knifed trucks, etc. I rented some movies and stayed close to the fire. I hadn't seen the new Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Man's Chest, so rented it. Man, what a waste of money.

I know most of you will think I'm being a wuss, but out here in Southern California we are experiencing a cold spell. It has been in the mid to high twenties out here. Now again I know that isn't cold to alot of you, but to me that is cold. This morning there was a little frost on my windshield. So I turned on the wipers and pushed the cleaner button. How was I supposed to know that it would freeze as soon as it hit the windshield? I don't even remember the last time I saw frost out here! Took myfifteen minutes for the engine to warm up enough to defrost the windshield.
