Default Intake manifolds

Ok so here it is. Everywhere I look around the forum it seems like there are 3 top intake manifolds. I will shortly be putting together a 351W to drop into my mustang. The engine will have AFR 185cc heads, a comp cams roller cam, and the carb will most likely be demon carb or another card around 650 cfm, at least thats what I'm thinking. I might want to go 750 cfm but thats another post for another time. I am looking at 3 different manifolds.

the 3 intakes I am looking at:

Edelbrock Performer RPM- 1500-6500 rpm pretty solid basic intake

Edelbrock Performer RPM Airgap- 1500-6500 RPM but gap delivers cooler air (in theory)

Weiand Stealth- idle-6000 rpm better low end power might be quicker off the line?

Which one do you think is the best. Does the Airgap design really work? Is the Weiand the best best due to the better rpm range? What do you think?

I plan on going with a webber setup much better throttle responce and torque than single carbs and EFI

the weiand is the same casting as the aluminum shelby manifold from back in the day cause guess who made those manifolds for shelby it was no one other than weiand

If the weiand its ranked at idle - 6500 theoretically yes you would make lower power for better take off. But, where do you launch at that would be the bigger question there. Between the two Edelbrocks I would definately take the Air-Gap model. It does help. Unfortunately I have no experience with Weiand intakes.

Weiand Stealth. None better for classic Mustang engines.

no experience with the weiands dual planes but i do like the airgaps... i always keep in mind that 1500 is not that far away from idle anyways ya know?

we used some of the weiand single planes on a run of hopped up sbc airboart motors and the customer was very please with them, but thats a whole different usage.
