Default Weekend Update with Pics

Here is some of the progress we made on the Mustang this weekend.

New Timing cover on

Damper in Place

Pulley on

Pan installed.

Water pump and alt brackets in place.

Fuel pump after sandblasting

Starter after sandblasting (still tested good after 30 years)

painted Starter

painted fuel pump

I have lots more work for this Saturday. I have all the hoses, radiator, alternator, and wiring to hook back up. All I will need is a carb to get the engine running (I hope).

Looks good, except I'd do some work on the engine compartment and degrease then repaint the block. But so far so good

Yea, we did everything with the block in place. I will soon do some sanding, degreasing painting of the the block and bay. I'm really just cleaning up parts for reuse and paint is a good way from keeping rust at bay after the parts have been blasted.
