Sport roof - just sold for 51k on BJ.

Sign of times? I know that same car sold for damn near 80k in the last couple of BJ auctions. ( 2003-2004.)

Sure hope things start slowing down.

Even though it's not a Shelby, nor a 428 car, it's still a GT 390. For 51k, that's not soo far off that the average Joe can own one. Fully restored, of course.

My personally favorite from Barrett-Jackson this year is a guy who boughtaPorsche last year at B-J for $130,000, sunk more money into a new paint job, then sold it at B-J this year for $90,000. Ouch.

It was even a red fastback.
