okay well seriously everyone seemed to have a differnt opinion on what it is and so i wasnt sure who was joking and who wasnt. i remember wondering if it was 'for the win' but it didnt seem to make any sense in the context.....

 

FOR THE WIN..... is an old TV term from Hollywood Squares...

IE "I'll take Rich Little in the lower right square for the win!"

It's meaning is that what ever I've just said ends the discussion and I've won!

I dont know exactly how it is used here, but FTW is often used in arian <sic?> (natzi) gangs (prison), F- The World. It is often used in tatoos of the same. at least that is what I have been told.

Sorry bub, to Bikers it means F@*K The World... has it's roots back to the 50's era biker gangs. Sums up the psychology of why they were what they were. Outcasts from society, outcasts from the world. Just like FTF stands for F@*K The Factory, a slap at Harley Davidson which originated back when HD was bought by AMF and the quality of production went down. Both flags are flown by Hardcore or Wannabe Hardcore version of bikers. Of course... to HOG members, it probably does mean Forever Two Wheels!
