Default Toploader questions

So my four speed is a little jacked up, as when the last person working on it apparently put the linkages on wrong, as my gears are in the wrong place! As far as i can tell, first and second are in the right place, but third and fourth are reversed. the shifter is a hurst. Any one have some info? thanks

Default RE: Toploader questions

Just a thought.......I don't have a toploader I have a T-10, but.........Check the linkage on the side of the trans and make sure the bell cranks are both up instead of down. If you point them down they will work backwards.
