Default 2 Mustang offers, I can't decide!

Ok so...

There are two mustangs I have been looking at. A green one, and a blue one. I like both colors, and both cars seem to be in pretty good shape for being like 40 years old. The blue one seems to have a small engine, which I would rather have a larger engine in it, and it is also manuel, which I like. The green one is automatic and kind of a weird interior and a bigger engine then the blue one.

Here are links to the two mustangs.
Green - http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/car/269898137.html
Blue - http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/car/267713491.html

So what I was looking for in a mustang is a black interior, loud/powerful engine and a dark color (blue and green I like). I don't know too much about mustangs, you probably already know that by now.
So I was wondering what you thought about the two. Which one is in better condition? Which one would YOU buy? Which one is the better deal/value? Are they priced correctly? What are your thoughts on the two?

THANKS!!!

-Conner

PS: I know if I want a loud mustang I will probably want to install a Flow master exhuast system...

You need to buy the first one. The one with the 302 V8 engine in it.

dont even worry about the second one..the first one hands down gets my vote; and just because its an automatic doesnt mean it has to be slow...good luck!

always take the V8, particularly if it is an original V8 car. As long as the car itself is set up to support the V8 (5 lug, suspension, etc)

Yeah, go with the green '68. You cant beat the 302, and the auto tranny will still burn off a set of tires real quickly. Its a good solid looking car and can always be repainted and there are always ways to changed the interior colors.

If you get the '68, you've got to do something about that carpet! [sm=jawdrop.gif]

I prefer the '66 in every respect but the engine. While the '68 doesn't appear to be a screamer, it does appear to have a Duraspark II ignition which is nice. I'm not a big fan of the jacked up rear look so I'd lower that end a bit and put some stock or stock looking wheels on it.

Good luck!

Ok I am in a bit of a bunch now.
I just found those two cars yesterday and was planning on meeting up with the two sellers sometime this week.

The blue one was already sold.... I don't know why the guy couldn't just delete his ad.

The green one MUST BE SOLD TODAY he said becuase apparently thats the date in his ad on when the car must go. So I don't know what to cause usually when car buying you want to take it slow, but Im afraid this green one will be bought today...
