alot of people do not understand that a well built auto is just as good, sometimes better then a manual transmission.
You'd always have a skip between the wheels in an auto. So you have a bit more mpg on an auto. Only in new cars this is resolved with a clutch in the gearbox. as well due to the skip you'll loose a bit power. If it's well built it's minimal. If it need overhauling it gets to very painful.

All in all personally I don't care about those values. I just prefer a manual as auto trans is boring to drive

I believe that 90% of all europeans drive stick where 90% of all americans drive auto. that about right ? no idea why that is though

my favorite invention, the "auto stick"[:'(], lets pretend to drive manual, oh or the guys that let off the gas when the auto changes gears so it looks like they are driving stick....morons[&o]

I'm 44, American, and all my cars have been stick, my current F-150 truck is stick, never bought an automatic until now...yes...my Mustang, my first ever automatic.

However, I bought it out of necessity, my legs have sustained nerve damage, I don't want to get into a long story, but about three years ago, I couldn't walk, took me an entire years learning how to walk again, I wanted to buy a Mustnag with manual transimission so bad, but it was best for me to get an automatic, but I'm still having a blast driving it. BTW, my sister also drives a stick, most of her friends are amazed since none of then know how to drive a stick, it's pretty funny actually...LOL.

Both of my Mustangs are stick. My old lady absolutely loves to drive the Mach. She revs it to over 3K in every gearbecause I told her to never lug down the engine. She doesn't.

Blast!

The green one was sold today while I was at school. So my search for another mustang of similar price and value begins....

All those mustangs you guys posted look great and are of similar value. The mount vernon one worries me becuase it does not run and I don't know too much about engines and I don't have a lot of money you know?
Man I wish I could just go over Seattle or Bellevue or a city near me and get one with out having to drive a loong way just to "take a look" at it you know?

What do you guys think of this one? http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/car/269918084.html
I would prefer a manuel, but it seems like the only mustangs for sale are autos.

That's an average price for a worn out coupe. Not a bargain by any means.

no not a bargain but not overly expensive either, plus looks like it already has a few good mods and a 9 inch. you could probably get a better deal, I'd try and talk em down a grand or at least that last 500. good luck
