was talking with a buddy and he was telling me i need to tighten up my body with frame extenders and traction bars and i wanted to hear some other opinions about ones to get and if it is worth it to get airbags and if so which ones...... i have a 66coupe

 

subframe connectors(frame extensions) are a good idea ties the front sub frame to the rear the shelby traction bars are a good idea i would check out www.laurelmountainmustang.com they have great deals on suspension rebuild kits for a stock to mild build and then maybe a little more performance something like the grab a track suspension from www.mustangsplus.com u can get them stiffer softer lowering,raising etc

and then all out id check in to www.opentracker.com (i think it is not sure on the addy) or www.streetortrack.com

 

airbags....? where would u get those for a 66 mustang?

i have only seen 2 different rear air bag kits havent seen a front one yet

 

airbags kill more people then they save

I've never heard of an air bag for a 66 Mustang either. If you are talking about the air suspension, then say so and clear up any misunderstanding.

I had "airbags" for my mustang I could pump them up for more rake or let air out to lower the rear. They worked well. I got rid of them with I did a complete suspension overhaul with KYB gas ajust all the way around, big sway bars, lowing spring and lower leaf springs, Global west a arms and struts. The works. Sticks real good now.
