Umm. yea, you need granada spindles for a granada swap. wether it be a 65 or a 67. You basically are transplanting the entire front braking system from one car into another.

Yeah, that goes without saying if you are going from drum to disk. If you are going from 67 disk to Granada disk you are a fool.

Well there you go grrum....Those rusty 14" keystones are hiding a little bit of gold. Freddy from Mustang Masters gets well over 500.00 for an original set of Kelsy Hayes discs.

From a strictly engineering point of view I would think that the Granadas are the superior design. 1 piston versus 4 pistons. Seems to me like the K.I.S.S. theory applies here.

That being said, they would serve snow cones in hell before I would take off an original disc setup to swap for a Granada setup.

Default 2BAV8 - Is it enough brakes ?

I'm upgrading my 67 Cougar .... will the Granada front discs be enough ?

- $545 for the Granada Kit is way cheaper than $1200-1800 for a Wilwood 12.2" set.

Do I "need" the "monster" wilwoods ?
Or will the combination of Granada Discs in the front and 94 mustang GT discs in the rear (with good pads)
be enough for auto-xing and canyon running ?

.... have you ever "over heated" your brakes and experienced fade while auto-xing ?

What pads are you using ?
Know any other other "classic" auto-xers ? - what are they using for pads ?
