lol really, is that how you got yours? I might really try that, cause right now im am about to pull out 3500 on a 1971 mach1 which is pretty much a rolling shell with 351c
i paid $4000 on a 69 coupe with a 351C

i dont regret it, the only thing i regret is not having alot of time to work on my baby

the thing is that the particular car I am looking at will pretty much need to have ALL of the interior redone, where there is no lack of part for 65-70 mustang its a different story for 71+, if i can i would like to buy a earlier mustang, but yea I understand what your talking about. 3500 is not bad and plus im sure ill have an awesome time working on it

I got my vert a few months ago... working on it has been fun and a royal p.i.t.a. - I only wanted to swap the brakes, but so far everything I take off needs fixin' or I break something ... so I keep ordering more parts...

nice car , whats under that hood?

I don't recall where I got the hood, but I found it on ebay from a big company and called them up and bought it. Its a pin on hood all the way around, no hinges and I love it! I have a 351W stroked to 408 with Eagle crank and rods and JE pistons. I threw out the c4 and swapped in a t-5 from Texas Motor Sports.

I used to live in Bear Creek / Murrieta. That was in 1989.
