What is the O-Ring that comes with the Intake Manifold Gaskets for?

Or distributor. If it's got a big O with a little O attached, it's thermostat housing. If it's just an O, it's for the distributor. You don't have to pull the distributor in order to do the intake, though. It gets in the way, but it's not impossible to get around. I don't bother pulling mine because I've had enough "practice" getting around it.
