Default 70 Bolt-In Windows

I am going to install 70 fastback bolt-in windows in my 69 fastback Mustang. I am having a difficult time locating the brackets that bolt to the glass and connects them to the regulators. I was wondering if anyone knew if 70 coupe brackets were the same as the 70 fastbacks, even though the glass is different? Thanks for any help.

Bump - Because this is a project that is on my "to-do" list also.

Anyone?

i am not 100% positive but i believe all the 69 windows were glued in and all the 70 windows were bolt in

That's what I understand, however many people have put the 1970 bolt in windows in 1969 cars without issue. It is a common "upgrade". I'm not sure if the 1970 coupe brackets will work in 1969/1970 fastbacks though, that's the input that we are looking for. Thanks!

That's our question atomsk680, we each have the fastback model, and apparently the fastback hardware is hard to find. Is the coupe hardware the same as the fastback hardware?

That just might answer our question then. If they don't differentiate between the two when they sell them then I'm guessing there isn't really a difference. I hadn't actually got to the point where I was actively researching it yet, so I hadn't looked up parts. There have been other pressing items that were higher on the list. Thanks much for your help.

thanks for all the help on this. based on what i'm seeing, there is no difference in the 70 coupe or fastback window brackets.

i've already bought new windows off Ebay for only $75 each with free shipping. the brackets aren't as cheapand have been going for around $100 per window.

Thanks for the update ushman, it's good to know that the parts are out there and available. This really is something that I want to do soon. I hate being scared of rolling down my window at a stoplight when people want to talk to me about the car.
