i unscrewed everything and the damn thing doesnt want to come all the way off!!! what do i have to do?

ohhh sorry pic is in the wrong post.... but im tryin to take my gauge cluster off so i can repaint it. the thing is that it doesnt want to come out. i already took all the screws out.

you took all the screws out around the bezel... there are some at both the top and the bottom. I think there are 8. After that, you should be able to grab it by the sides and rotate it downward slightly..then it should pop out.

i took all 8 screws out and was able to tilt it downwars a little bit but thats it. i have about a 2inch gap. from this gap i seen a thick black cable thats connected to the back of my cluster. the only problem is, is that i cant reach it!! what else can i do?

lay on your back with your head near your peattles and reach up there for that spedo cable, its probley onley finger tite. thats whats holdin it on.

Yeah, the speedometer cable is holding it. Plus, the cluster has a tit on the bottom, so you have to push upwards to get the bottom out. A bit of advice........wrap a towel around the steering wheel shaft so you don't scratch the paint.
