if you don't want to wait at hardware stores and pool supplies they sell teflon based lube 61% for about $9 and its alot cheaper than the name brand based stuff its about the size of a large toothpaste tube

would lithium grease accomplish the same thing? Or do I need to stay with the teflon based lube? I am getting ready to put some bushings on and my bushing kit didn't come with any lube either.

use the teflon its impervious to water and what not but make sure you wear gloves to apply it cause it is hard to get off skin i had to use it on a pool fitting one time

this might sound kinda funny but if you put electric grease in between your fingers then put the grease the the kit came with it is the same exact thing. who would have thought?

Another thing that helps is to sand the ends of the poly so that they are equal to or ever so slightly shorter than the inner sleeves. That way, when you torque the bolt you're not squeezing the poly between the bracket plates. Poly slipping while under compression against the brackets = another source of noise.

Norm

Edit: spelling

One tip i seen in Mustang unlimited for front sway bars is put teflon tape around sway bar where bushinggoes. Plan on doing thiswhen I put on new sway bar.
