Window tint
Not so many years ago I would have argued rather strongly against any sort of tint. But since developing an unpleasantsensitivity to heat stress I'll concede that a little tint could be a good thing. However, the emphasis is still on the word "little", as in "no darker than necessary to adequately perform the function". I really don't think that tint, anywhere near as dark that term has come to suggest, really fits the visual character of a 1960's car (Cadillacs and Lincolns perhaps excepted). One of the benefits of driving one of these cars is to be seen in it, particularly if you have some "sweat equity" in its condition. Might as well stay home if you've got to hide out of sight.

I was under the impression that the harmful UV rays couldn't get through window glass and that you shouldn't worry about getting burned. Is that right or is it only the newer windshilds that are like that? Of course if you're worried about the heat, then this doesn't really apply...
There's one critical item that needs to be mentioned here. Check your state vehicle codes before you spend the money and tint your windows. CA specifically indicates you can NOT tint forward of the drivers and passenger. Though it's not often enforced, it will get youpulled over if the officer needs a reason. Believe me!

Don't you guys want people to see your awesome interiors?
Isn't that the whole point of our classic rides, to showcase what we have?
Having said that though, I might tint the back only...LOL.
