Default Electronic Ignition

Right now I've got the points in my 6 cyl. and to be honest, I know nothing about it[8D] I'd like to move over to an electronic ignition system, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. Anyone have any good links/suggestions to something I could easily switch over to? Thanks

Wow! Over a hundred bucks now. I got mine less than a year ago for 65 bux. Is it because that one is for a 6 banger?

does your car have a thermactor, this will affect which pertronix ignitor you will need. Both the standard ignitor and ignitor II are a great choice. You can save a little money with the standard. Heres a kit at mustangs plus that includes a coil.

No Stephen, mine is the first generation. Not sure why they introduced the II, since my I works just fine. I understand there are a few more amps coming from the II, but how much do we need with stock set-ups?
