I broke down my vin/data plate and the info matches the car,,,but it doesnt say what options or type of interior other than black vinyl,,so I don't know if it's deluxe or pony that sort of info like that,,,66 coupe 6 popper 3 spd ,,,thanks for help/info

If your car has not been restored previously, you may try reaching under the front seat and feel up into the frame webbing to see if an original copy of your build sheet is still there. I found copies under my drivers seat, and under the rear seat in my 70 Mach 1. I have also heard of them being found under the carpet. If you don't have any luck, then Marti works is the solution.

That's true, and you are SOL with Marti on your 66. So, who is going to win the Super bowl next year? I like the Cowboys. Seriously, you can't get any information about your 66 that is documented. Just drive it and and enjoy the experience and not worry about originality because there is no way to prove anything about the originally of any of the parts on your 66 Mustang. Forget it.

 

In other words what soaring means, is that ford trashed the documentation for models 65-66 then got smart and kept the documents after that. So then sadly marti won't work for your year because simply no information exists! sucks doesn't it
