Default idle to low

hey every one this is my first post and i dont know a lot about carbs. me and my friend were working on my engine and he noticed it was idleing really low how do u turn it because it keeps dieing on me when i go slow around a turn.

Get your idle mixture leveled out so that the engine idles smoothly. There are two screws you need to adjust while the engine is running. Start with a turn and a half from the bottom, then tweak from there.

Their is a screw/bolt were the the accelerator/gas pedal linkage connects to the carburetor. The screw makes contact with a bracket on the throttle plates. Turn the screw/bolt clockwise to increase idle speed.
