Default Stereo Amp in Process - PIX

Here's a pitcure of the first fitting of my Apline amp and MBQuart crossovers. Theye are screw mounted to a board, carpet covered and foam-backed .... seated in the well and held in place by a bracket. My spare will sit beside it...

normally all that weight back there would probably be a drawback for most people, but with that supercharger you're probably doing yourself a favor putting some weight over those roasting tires!!

looks good timelock, you're doing quite the job documenting your resto too. nice.

+1 on the weight. hell with ne stang with modest upgrades u need it. i got 3 10's in my trunk and i still break the tires loose all the time on accident. Unfortunatly their been a lot of audio thread as of late and make mine look like crap[&:]

just a box sitting in the trunk from dual with a 500 watt amp screwed onto it.

does the amp and sub really add that much more weight?

No, and neither does a battery in the trunk, but every little bit adds up. I'm just wondering if the dust and vibrations that are apparent in the trunk area will affect the electronics?
