Default California Mod?

I will get some more information on this car but apparntly this mustang i purchased is whats known as a california mod mustang, it is not the same as a california custom, what i currently know is that the car is golden with a stripe down the side and a pinstripe on each side of the single stripe. The car is golden in color and features a vinyl top, i have only found one website that mentions this car and it is an oldmagizine clipping, but any information would be greatly appricated.

Update: This car is from a dealership in Bethesda, Maryland whichwas the only one thathad these cars, the dealership installed Air conditioning, Over head console, and shifter console, all of the trim was done in wood grain, the doors have the delux panels and the seats are delux with 2 chorme insertsin the upper back portion of the seats including seat locks.

Thank you for getting 100% off topic this car again is not a california special nor is it close here is an article on the car http://www.geocities.com/mustangs68.geo/cal-mod.html , i'm sorry for not clearly stating before, the side stripe does not stop at a side scoop instead there is a chrome incert and the stripe follows to the back of the car, it does not however have the t-bird style tail lights but the standard mustang, I've noticed while looking through the car that it had many options similar to the shelby ranging from woodgrain deluxe interior to options such as rear defroster, and courtsey light wiring which was mounted on the console, and the bell for when the door is ajar

They called those California Specials. Other states had their Special Mustang as well......such as Colorado. Google California Special Mustang and you will get all kinds of information.
Here is one to get you started.

If it isn't a GT, it will have the chrome "California Special" on the rear quarter panel. Just so everyone knows what you are talking about re: the 2007 CS, Mustang re-invented the CS this year. Good lookin' car.
