Default 05-07 wheels

Whats the difference if any between the 05-07 wheels and the 94-04 wheels mostly the 17x8bullit style wheels. I heard there was a backspacing difference or something like that so you couldn't fit them like the older wheels, is there any truth to that?

You would have to run very large spacers with the 05+ wheels (maybe 1.25"). I havea set of worn 94-04 Bullit wheels to roll around my 71 on, and I don't really care for the way they fit, they would also need spacers to look right.

You will need to run spacers with either wheel, so you might as well get the 05+ Bullit wheels for super cheap and spend your money on a good set of spacers.

You might be surprised, it may not be as cheap as you think after you add in all the costs... Wheels, shipping, spacers, studs, lugs, and the insecurity of running spacers (some tire shops will refuse to service your vehicle with spacers on it)

So even if I ran the 94-04 bullits 17x8 what kind of spacing would I be looking at, and cost of all the other extras. I would go check dodgestang's page myself but I'm deployed and the government computers won't let me go to his site and a lot of others so this is my only avenue for info mostly. I'm surprised that this isn't blocked. So if anybody or somebody who did this before give me the simple breakdown, orif it would just be cheaper to go buy the american racing torq thrust II'sit would be appreciated, thanks.

I picked up my 05 bullitts for $350 on craig's list with new perilli tires. The 1 1/4 spacers were $125 on e-bay. If I had to pay full rpice for the wheels and tires I would have went a different way.

Where are you at that you can get on this site? When I'm on the ship I can't get to this site.

I think my buddy Kurt might be over there. He is with a F15 squadron out of Seymour Johnson.

I'll be headed over in April. We get to look at a bunch of water, not much better but at least we have AC on the ship.
