The Hi Po sticker is another gift from the previous owner, the 5th VIN digit is a C, low engine on the totem pole.

The photoshop of the hood pins moved out looks WAY better. I guess I have to get a new hood now so I can put them where they belong.

The 289 badge is missing from the passenger side, as the the "Mustang" badge.

There are a few other "issues" with the car, but all in all I dont think it is to bad. It was kinda high priced ($8500), but there were people lined up 4 deep behind me ready to buy it, so there was no negotiating the price.

looks cleaner than mine and I paid ~5000. I had to replace thegears and the a/c is broke, the engine is in need of a rebuild, the carb needs overhauld and sounds like my rear bearings are going bad now, but I love her to death!

Nice looking ride! What's the story of the vehicle with the CA plates in OK according to your profile? Man, I miss those old plates, the same ones I had on the '85 GT vert! Our current ones blow!!!

Great looking ride. Welcome. Hey 65 Mojo, can you put Carroll in the car with me? I'm impressed.

Looks like you may need some rear springs pretty soon too. She's sagging to the passenger side. Or, perhaps the PO put the new springs on backwards. Believe it or not, the springs on the passenger side have more of a bow than the driver's side.

The story with the plates is the dealer I bought it from travels alot to pick up cars he thinks are in decent shape. He was in Cali for something or other and found it and brought it back here.

The springs will need to be replaced, but the car doesnt sag as much as the photomakes it look.

Yes, I think it's the angle, for further proof, take a white sheet of paper and align it to the picture, looks even to me (mmm, perhaps a milimeter off or so).

BTW, nice ride bro, and no, I disagree that you paid too much, IMO that's a solid good price.

im thinkin that maybe the reason there is no 289 or mustang lettering on the passenger's side is because maybe that fender came off a i6 car? just a thought...mine is like that except the opposite, its a i6 car with the holes for the v8 emblems.
