I have two `67 Mustang Coupes with A/C and one without it. Actually only one A/C works, but the two A/C cars have Vacuum Cannisters, but they are two different cannisters. One sits inside the passenger fender and comes threw rear inner apron, and the other is inside the engine compartment in the same area.

Does anyone know which is correct one. Part books say the one that comes threw the apron is the only on availible, but alot of other peoples cars on Ebay have the one inside the engine compartment.

Any clue????

The second pic appears to be a canister for a tilt away steering system. Althought I have not seen them mounted in that location before.

 

Never seen the inner one. Mine is outside the fender apron behind the splash guard. That is where I've always seen them.
