Actually sounds like a good idea to me. While too much power/torque in first certainly wouldn't be a problem for the I6, 200, engine, it isn't very hard to lose traction in ice and snow with a larger engine. I've been known to start out in 2nd gear (manual transmission) when driving in slick conditions.

think about it u got you new hot mustang v8 ride u put some 410 in the rear and it goes to snowin u cant hardly get hte car to move so u throw it in second and creap foward
