Default C6 Cooling Lines

Anyone installed new cooling lines on a C6? I bought some SS cooling lines from mustangs unlimited, the front connection on the tranny is good, but the rear connection is a booger. The line bends to a 90 then straight into the trans., while the stock line had a 90 adapter. I cannot find an adapter that has a female flare going to a male pipe fitting that are both the same size going straight into the trans. Am I missing something? Anyone know of any good adapter sites on the internet that would have something like this?

Emailing who??? An no, a banjo fitting will not work. It is basically a pipe thread adapter with an inverted flare where the line screws into. I thought I found one online but it had tube threads on both ends instead of tube on one end and pipe on the other. Both 1/2" threads but different pitch. I may have to yank one off of an old C6....if I can find one. Or just run a short piece of rubber pipe from the cooling line to an adapter on the trans.

Why cant you use the old one?? You could allways buy a straight fitting and cut the line then add a piece of rubber hose..

The old one has a inverted flare on a 90 that goes into the tranny. The new lines are bent to a 90, so I need something that goes straight into the tranny. As I found in my research, some C6's had the 90 degree adapter and some had straight adapters. I would just take these lines back, but that is too much trouble and I can make these work. Like you said, I may just use a short length of rubber hose if I can't find and old C6 somewhere.

I had the same problem with my C6 setup. I wound up cutting the hard-line and splicing in a rubber hose using dual hose clamps to insure that it wouldn't leak. After a couple of hours of trying to do it "right", the splicing thing took about 10 minutes and installed perfectly. What the hell was I waiting on.

Just made an adapter that would fit from some I purchased at NAPA. Did not have my original adapter with me so I hope this fits. If not then I am going the ****** fitting / hose route.
