How hard is it to get a license on a car? WHen i go into the dmv i kno i'll havta have the title n all that stuff, but when i give em everythng they need will they automatically give me a temp. plate? Also anybody got some good ideas for a vanity plate for my 1968 coupe?

If you have all the paperwork, you should get your permanent plates. As far as a vanity plate, you need to customize that for yourself. Mine was Gyn Toy, because my nieces and nephews couldn't say uncle Glen when they were little, so it came out sounding like Gyn instead of Glen. They are all adults with their own famies now, but I am still Uncle Gyn.

haha, good story Uncle Gyn.
i jus thought that they had to send the perman. plates out later once they got stamped. And would give me temp. plates in the meantime.

Stamped? The prisoners stamp them, then send them to the DMV. You just get whichever plates are on top of the stack. Here in Texas, there used to be a sticker with the year on the plate, but anymore they just give you a sticker to put in your windshield with the registration and plate number on it.
