I've narrowed it down to two color combonations on my 1965 coupe. Since it's a GT I'm going to have a rocker panel stripe, I've decided against the LeMans stripes. I have decided on either candy apple red with a black stripe or a darker shade of silver (lighter than elanor though) and a black stripe. I was just wondering what you guys thought, I'm trying to match up the stipe color with the color of my interior and I want it to look good with slighty tinted windows. Thanks guys!

I like red on the classic (duhh) but its a pretty common color, the silver combo should look sweet and not as common place, good luck.

 

Yeah, I prefer the light gray over red. It just somehow looks more mature.

 

What do you mean by more mature? I mean you have to admit that a candy apple red with black stripes would look sweet though. I just can't seem to make up my mind, I asked the guys at the chop shop to help me so we'll have to wait and see how that goes.

 

If you look at my Mach you see that I have no objections to red and black on a Mustang.

 

I thought that was orange.

^^^ Is that a C1 style clip on a C6? BTW, that color looks awesome on the C6 but is not even close to what I'd describe as Candy Apple. It is called Monterey Red (or at least looks very much like it from the picture).
