looks like a grandmas car[:@] my dad is running it in a classic car rally this weekend with one of his friends and since my car is the most reliable old car we own, he is taking it. but that meant that we had to take off the Torq thrust Ds and put on the original size wheels and tires, so now im rollin on 14s with the original hub caps! my white car with the black vinyl top and tiiiiiiny little wheels looks so lame! but i kinda like it, it has that little sleeper element to it now! the bonus to this deal is that while my dad is cruizin in my 65 289 im bangin around in his 1970 428 cobra jet mach 1[sm=badbadbad.gif] this weekends gunna rock! imma go try to take some pictures of my car with the original wheels on to show yall what im talkin about (looks like it has no *****!) but the 289 is lightly modded, so i may leave the wheels on for a week or 2 and see if i can surprize anyone at a stop light or two[8D] brb with pics!

 

I put my 14X5 original wheels on with the original hubcaps just for a change in looks. I just can't keep the passenger side rear tire from burning out in first and chirping in all gears.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I love the stock '65 hubcaps! Looks good to me.[8D]
