Help - Headlight Assembly
When I disassembled my entire front end last spring the headlights were held in place by very little, with the tin buckets behind the bulbs in very poor shape. Neither seems to have had all the original parts because I just received my new headlight adjuster kit and went to put the assemply togther and I don't understand where the parts go. Any help or a link to a diagram would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what I don't understand:
1) First is the little square clasp that goes into the square hole. It doesn't seem to "snap" in as I expected and seems to just sit there. Is this correct?
2) There is a small spring in the kit. I have no idea where this goes or what it does!
I am going to order a shop manual but in the meantime I thought you guys might have some advice, or at least get a laugh.

I took my bucket off and snapped a few shots for you. Here is what the finished product should look like sans the bucket.

No, I would have to take the bulb out to see behind it. Sorry bud. I've had a few brewskies, so maybe tomorow I will disassemble the light and get you some shots of behind the bulb. I'll PM you tomorrow with the pics.
