Ok now that i found out my transmission isnt bad the modulator hose just came out i can finally start my v8 buildup, what are some suggestions, i know im going with a 302, what carb should i use, should i change to a C6 tranny to handle the power im going to addon later, is my 8" reaer end enough to hold a 331 stroker?

id use a c4 built up or if you want to drive it alot a aod or any overdrive built up. your 8 inch might id look up the prices for better axles and a diff. but if you really want a 9 inch currie makes factory replacement ones they aint cheap tho

you can always get a junkyard 9inch theres a list in the faq i believe shows what years ford had how wide of a 9 inch. you might have to weld on some things but will be cheaper then a currie and the normal rebuild to it bearings seals oil.
