Default ladder bars

Someday in the future I would like to upgrade the rear suspension on my 66 coupe. I was thinking about ladder bars as I would like the car to see some track use. However I would like to remain streetable. Is this feasable. Also, what is the difficulty level. Also I would like feedback on front suspension possibilities. My front end is shot and I will probably replace it first. Thx.

Got there on mine and everything works great for me. I don't drag but I do gas it. It stops wheel hop. It also works when you brake. I had my on for a long time.

There are a lot of choices out there. Everything from inexpensive universal type bars to Shelby weld on reproductions. I'm not sure if Lakewood still makes Traction Action bars for Mustangs, but they were an easy, reliable wheel hop cure.

Sorry if there was some mix up. I was referring to a ladder bar adjustable suspension, the kind available from places like Jegs. Not traction bars, I already have them. And, by the way, they are a great improvement.

I run a set on my 65 FB along with the Koni coil overs. There is quite a bit of work involved in the installation process. I did the mini tub and roll bar install at the same since the top of the Koni intersects to the cage at the back end.

For the complete "backhalf" you are looking at about $3500.00.
