Glass Refinishing - does it work??
Pulled this off the web, has anybody ever used this product (or similar one) to refinish glass. I have some scuffs / scratches on the windshield due to the wipers and some on the side windows due to the old felt in the doors.
want to know if its worth the investment and if it actual does what they're selling??

Another exterior area that may need sanding is the wind shield, since the glass typically gets scratched or pitted over time.We use a special felt buff that attaches to a drill.
[ul][*]Pre-soak the buff to keep it moist.
[*]Use Rhodite polish mixed with a little bit of distilled water. Add enough water to the polish to get the consistency of gravy.
[*]After dipping the felt pad into the compound, buff the scratched area of the glass, going across the scratch lines.
[*]It's important to use a variable speed drill and low power and to apply a good amount of pressure to the surface.[/ul]
