Wow! Over 75 grand and the reserve is not yet met. I wouldn't want that car because I wouldn't want to get the first piece of dirt on it.

it looks so boring... what would you even do with a car like that? sit around and shine it and try not to breath on the paint?

It would be a bummer to have a car sooooo nice that you were afraid to use it. Not sure what I would do with it.

But I would trade him

Asking $139,000. That's one of the best restorations I've ever seen. I was at the museum and the rest of their cars are amazing as well.

On the eBay auction is says that the engine is a 4.8l. I thought all 289s were 4.7?

yah it's 4.7litre -- 289*2.54^3/1000=4.735
i'm not saying this is a great daily driver. If i'd be a multimillionaire with money to born I'd buy it to put it behind glass though

Very nice, but if I bought it I wouldn't be able to resist changing a couple of little things, like, the wheels, lowering it (a lot), and doing something with the engine. I think thats why I couldn't find cars like that around me when I was looking for one...
