I wanna restore this beast man! My grandmother gave it to my dad and he is lettin me do what I want with it. I think I need a new engine and a bunch of **** (Ill get the details later)... is it worth it? Or should I just save and cop me a nice 03 or somethin. My budget will be about 5 Gs

look for any rust on your car.

The lagzY please pay attention as you can get into trouble here you need to know that you are capable of working on the engine and everything unless you lack the mechanical aptitude. Get a chiltons manual for $18 for your mustang. Go through it and figure out whats wrong first.

My Grandmother owns an SSR and a 1935 truck and some classic caddies.

Thanx alot Green I will do that, my dad was a real good mechanic and he helps me with my current car and he loves restorin pieces. Is there a place where I can just purchase a brand new engine and which would work for this car to make it beautiful. From what I know, there is rust problems throughout so I plan on fixin everythin. Thanx alot, any more advice is needed.

More pics would be cool, but it looks like you have a good foundation there. Most people begin with (should begin with) suspension and brakes, so give that some consideration.

 

please give that car the respect it deserves and put a trunk back on it[&:]

 

5 grand will get you a good paint job and take care of the body rust. So you see you are going to need a lot more money.
