Yes it's possible and has been done before but it's pretty pointless. It costs more than just buying an actual fastback, doesn't have the value of an actual fastback, you risk a lot of structural problems even if you're great at body work, and most can still tell it was a coupe. There's a kit to convert to a convertible (Ronster from MP) and it's pretty ugly but I've never seen one to conver to a fastback.

The only good kit they sell, IMHO, is the retractable hard top because for the simple reason of It was an original Ford idea that was never produced due only to the fact that they couldn't motorize the hardtop as they could on other models.

USA..is a guy on EBay selling a DVD on converting a coupe to fastback (I don't know how to post the link) the item # is 300100417121 the sellers name is Raleighronsclassics.
