Default 67 exhaust

Hi, this is my first post here!Welli've been helping my friend with his 67 coupe mustang with the 200 inline 6 motor. The manifolds are looking pretty rough so i'm having him get some sort of new manifold or headers. From the manifold or headers what should i do as far as an exhaust system? He wants it nice and loud. I know that putting on cherry bomb glasspacks would help but what do i do from the manifold/header back to when i can put a glasspack on. Thanks

just run a straight pipe...you will lose somepower if you split the exhaust on a 200

if you run cherry bombs you don't run anything else. They just act as resonators and you run straight pipe out from the back of those.

what cherrybombs? they can sound decent, on a built motor....but a 6 cyl.....ehhhh, probably a little tug-boatish. It'll be loud and obnoxious tho.

run your cherry bomb right before the exhaust tip they sound a little better on smaller engines that way...

the way the exhaust hangs if he gets a 2 inch inlet outlet cherry bomb he should have about an inch clearance i would say...a friend has it with no problems...
