Default Which Pushrods?

So i am getting ready to put my new Performer RPM heads on. I figured while i am at it, I will replace the stock push rods with a set of hardened ones. My question is, what length would they be on a 69 302. ( it is a non F vin #) , I didnt know that mattered but the guy at advanced auto said that determines length.

he probably meant "G" which is a boss 302...it depends on if your running solid or roller lifters because those differ inheight but i believe its 6.850 standard length and if your running roller lifters some companys make i believe a 6.4. check summit racing and click the make sure this part fits on the part page it should tell you if that part is the right length or not...

you very well may have to get oddball length rods, using aftermarket heads and all. if you wanna REALLY do it right trick flow has a length checker available from summit for less than 20 bucks. then you can order the right ones. companies like comp make pushrods in pretty much every size known to man.
