haha...the number plates are like that to fool the speed cameras...I just wish it worked.
i try to drive it at least once a week but the road is a killer...all the dust just collects on the tail andanything chrome. Paint on lower panels is starting to suffer as well from the gravel even tho I drive at a snails pace until i reach tarmac.

nice tach set up!!
I was waiting for that!
I love my tach. Its a classic Smiths similar to what they used in Cobras etc. It usually lives in a pod on the steering column...fits just nice between the speedo and the amp gauge. The other day it started reading a bit high which impressed my passenger who thought i was changing at 6500! So I pulled it off to see ifI couldget it repaired.

Next time i came out for a drive, the car wouldnt start. Not looking like firing. WTF never had a "failed to start" before.

Anyways after an hour or so I figured the only thing changed was the tach...I just unplugged it, left all the wiring intact, so how the hell could this be the problem [:@]I hate auto elec! I plugged it back in and the car fired up straight away. Turns out they'd wired the tach in the same loom as my kill switch. Doh!
