Default I need engine help!

OK, so im now finishing my project, except theres on little problem my 302 wont turn all the way by hand, and im to scared to try and turn it over. i've got dirt in the #1 piston im thinking it might be a dirt dobber made a nest in there, but if thats not it what are some other possibilities?

sounds like its time to pop the heads off and see whats happening, hopefully it only costs you a head gasket set (cheap enough)

Yea, if it wont turn,,, do not force it under any circumstances.

If you have not pulled the plugs yet, you might do so, if the engine has water or fluid down a cylinder, it will not turn against compression.

OK, i looked at it again and it looks like a dirt dobber built a nest in the #1 cylinder, could that be whats stopping it...there is oil in the motor, but it should turn all the way over shouldnt it?
