Default Relocation

hi anyone, my name is Ian and im a new member to the forums. well im driving / building a 1966 coupe, and ive done a lot of replacing and converting. i am currently running a 200 straight 6 cyl. but am slowly converting to V8. ive put in a nine inch rear end and am trying to get my tires to fit under my car. they currently sit about two inches outsid the wells and i want to get them under the car. no i need to relocate the leafs and widen the tubs and work the axel as well. so im looking for any help i can get. does anyone have tricks ? tips for doing any of this? or do you know where i can find kits for doing this, do they have them for a 66 stang? all im finding is mopar garbage.
help? anyone?
thanks, Ian

Default RE: Relocation

Well, you can't relocate the rear leaf springs, but you can get rid of them with some new suspension stuff like the Watt's link with the coil over set up. As far as the axle is concerned I am not sure if it can be shortened or not. What back spacing are your wheels, and what size tires are you running?
