well ive been talking about getting a new spray gun and the one i wanted was about 600$ well my boss is a jobber so he gets a deal on guns and he ordered me a new Sata jet 3000rp digital. http://www.sata.com/Produkte/produkt.jsp?index=02-j1 we got it in yesterday and i was gonna talk to him about paying for it and he just gave it to me. how sweet is that seriously. im only gonna use it for clear as it has a 1.3tip size it lays it out very nice. next im gonna get a 2000hvlp for base instead of my jet 90


anyone else on here you sata guns for their restos?

 

I still use my old binks no. 7, I bet that gun will be a pleasure to use!

I have a sata 2000. In your opinion is the 3000 that much better? I always use the 95 for sealer and color and the 2000 for nothing but clear.

welli painted it with acrylic enamel a while back in performance red to seal all the body work but i think im gonna change it to viper red or maybe even boyds red with either gold or white stripe when i do my bc/cc on it as for being better than the 2000 i honestly couldnt tell you but i know the 2000 is supposed to be excellent in mottling and striping control but it also is great for clear. im just stoked tohave gotten it

yeah i took german for 4 years in high school and it has finally paid off...

 

yeah Sata is the premiere spray gun company cant really go wrong with German engineering

 

What is the closest town in Germany we would know Kalli? I spent 9 years there so could relate. Is this black forest or Bavaria area?
