Ok, I must be an idiot but i cannot break my tires loose. EOC i know you have a built up 289, i have a similar type set up on my 302, so it must just be me. Do you just hold the break in and give it gas till they break loose?

Well, mine was so easy when i got it, reason: NO REAR BRAKES, it was basicly a line lock, After i rebuilt it, it had more trouble, because it had new rear brake parts and older brake parts. So i dont hold the brakes all the way down or it has a little harder time starting or going as high rpm, but the second u lift the brakes u can really feel them burn more because thats less holding it back. i have a built 302/c4/4.11's/posi Also, i got 2 vids:

1. before POSI and no rear brakes my peglegger at night)

the Pzero's dont like to smoke much, expecially because its a lil wet, but now because of my american racing 15's and only 215 wide tires, ive burned off a full set driving only a few hundred miles Just showing my car to each of my friends and really letting each of them know how a muscle car does a brake stand.

2. After posi, with not flooring the brake:

Although it was harder with new brakes i have never had it NOT do a brakestand, it just takes a little more gas to brake them loose, today..... the T5 goes it... this is going to be a fun next weekend! -Jon

boys will be boys
actually Emp, from side on at night its pretty hard to tell itsa single spinner...and the advantage is your tires last twice as long...just swapem over when youve fried out the one side[8D]
