Default Engine In,,,, Sort of,,

Well we got the engine in the 66 this evening. I have to give Valley Firearms some credit, after looking at a post with a phoroof my engine last week, he asked me if I thought "those headers would fit". I said that they were ordered to fit so they should, well they didn't fit. Damn good eye!

Will send those back, and order again tomorow!

What do you think of my stylized engine compartment?

Thanks for the compliments!

Would I have gotten more replies if I had painted the engine compartment black?

I used bed liner in selected places under the hood, and for the entire underside of the car, I expected that some folks would not like it under the hood, but the belly of the car looks awsome, and it was realtivly inexpensive and very easy to do.

We sprayed it in, the gun that we used was about 50 bucks, another 50 for the product. I had to thin the mixture down a little bit to get it to spray well, (this was not in the directions)but other than that it went as smooth as silk.

The gun drew the product directly from the 1 gallon can through a 4' long hose, so it would work in any position which was a major plus. We actually ended up with a little of the stuff left for touch up etc.
