Putting headers on, Starter is in way!
I got a smaller starter for a late model stang, and ran the cable down like normal to the starter, then ran a jumper wire across to the starter(late model) selenoid from where the fender selenoid cable connects to the starter power source(late model starters have 2 terminals, one for power, then one for the selenoid on the starter to receive signal from the switch, so the wire is jumped from one terminal to the other on the starter). Otherwise, you'll have a fight on your hands trying to change starters. Worked for a long time so far, and man, it's a lot lighter too!!!
