mini starter problems

Default mini starter problems

just installed a new mini starter. starts the car great, but it seems to keep spinning for about 3 seconds after the car cranks. any one know why?

got it from mustangs unlimited. procomp - pc2107

I don't know much about mini starters, but obviously it is defective. Send it back to Mustangs Unlimited and either ask for a refund or have them send you another starter. I understand that Mustangs Unlimited is not the best of companies to deal with. You might want to mention that you are a member here, and that if they don't want their name tainted further to take good care of you.

Buckle your seat belt,,I've had nothing but trouble on shipping issues with them, including a couple times I HAD TO PAY TO CORRECT THIER SCREW UP,,, seems their fast on getting product out the door ,,but slow on the exchange /reship thing and guess who ultimately eats it

Read the link James W gave above...
How do you have it wired? If you wired it incorrectly, it will "run on" for a couple seconds.
