thanks, jamesw. i went to the site you suggested and found the correct wiring scheme. it works great now.

before i found the site jamesw suggested, mustangs unlimitedgaveme an ra number and agreed to pay for the return and credit my card with no hassle. i called them back later and told them i would keep the starter. they have always helped me and i have done business with them for 6 years.guess its who you get on the phone. i ask for joe.
