my door hinges are pretty devastated. both doors sag real bad even after i rebuilt them...i saw this guy who rebuilds them for $120 or something....

is that a better route to go as opposed to buy new hinges....?

I had a bad hinge and tried to rebuild. Because the pin had broke at some point and was rusted in, it was going to be very difficult to get that middle section out. I bought a new one from CJ's Pony Parts and the thing was excellent quality.

I wasted my money on the new pins and should have just replaced it in the beginning.

Consider yourself lucky. I just got an estimate of 3 thousand dollars to get rid of the termites that showed up at my house. [:@]

You poor guy. I had my house 'tented' lastyear and it was$1836, about a buck a square foot. That's in Northern California. Now my cousin's house in Tyler ison a slab and it cost her $2200 to dill into the slab and gas them.

Yeah, they are talking about tearing out walls and drilling into the slab to gas them. Life does have it's surprises, doesn't it?

I got rid of two sheds, my spa, the fence around it and have a gate left to replace. It cuts into my Mustang stuff. The inspector gave me a clean bill of health and I got some good stuff from Home Depot to spray around the house, keeping with the 'do it to myself' theme. It's got a five year killing life. Humm, two applications equals ten years?
