damn thats cheap
(the 408) thats definatly the exception not the rule thats about the going price for a shortblock.. great deal.. what heads are you running?

Ported and polished 351w heads for now. Theyhave bigger valves cut into them and stuff, but I wanna swap them for something else as soon as possible.

AFR 185's or Canfield 192's would work really well on a 408. Or you could go the more pricey Clevor route and get a set of 2v or 3v CHI heads and manifold

Cleavor is a lil outa my college-student price range. But AFR's anda 2-stage nitrous setup are on the shopping list for the end of the Summer.

id do a 408 with afr 205's, roller cam and rockers and a dual plane edelbrock dual plane air gap.....maybe a little too much but if your going to do it, better go all the way.

The top end parts are what make the hp and cost all the money..No point in building a stroker and choking it to death.
