UPHOLSTERY INSTALLATION HELP
So first fo all I want to thank all of you who responded to my first email about the burlap. Now that I have the frames stripped I have some more questions. I take the larger coat hanger size piece and wrap the burlap around and then secure the rod to the frmae with the hog rings. Then do I reuse the metal rods that were around the channels in the foam cushions and secure the foam to the frame witht he hogs rings and then the covers to the frames and do the covers also get secured to the foam. Also can I just secure the burlap to the frame, set the foam on and then secure the covers to the frames without securing the foam directly to the frame. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

You have got to hog ring the seat cover thru the foam to that 'coat hanger' wire under the foam. That 'coat hanger' (it's the best description I can think of) wire must be hog ringed to the springs securely. The burlap is between the foam and the springs and keep the foam intact.
So - springs; burlap -a few hog rings (8-10); 'covered coat hanger wire' - many hog rings (20); foam - a few hog rings (8); seat cover - hog rings (24-30).

Yes, you use the 'Lister wires" that were in your origional covers. Attatch the 'coated' hanger wires to the frame and springs through the burlap. Then hog ring the foam, wherethe indentations are, to these same wires. Lastly, hog ring the lister wires in the channels through the foam to the 'coated' wires that are attached to the frames and springs. It is easier if you have an extra pair of hands to compress the foam and help attatch the hog rings.
